We are proud to be Electric Stars dedicated creative partners since 2014. We’ve been working across all their beautiful pubs and creating bespoke logos and branding for their growing portfolio of premium venues.
It all started with the Star of Bethnal Green, Star of King’s and Star by Hackney Downs, and then expanded with new brand identities for The Leyton Star, The Fellowship and Star (which includes a cinema and cafe) and the Heathcote and Star in Leytonstone.
There’s also a famous new Hackney Wick based addition coming soon called The Napier Star so watch this space…
Each of the venues is unique so we needed to create an individual brand aesthetic to match each of the interior moods but still recognisable as an ‘Electric Star’ pub overall.
The main concept takes inspiration from constellations and botanical illustrations. Each pub has it’s own motif, logo and wider branding that reflects the venue’s personality.
Each identity was then continued across new websites, menu designs, posters, loyalty cards and digital media assets. We also worked closely with KAI interior designs to create bespoke wayfinding and window graphics.
HEATHCOTE AND STAR
One of our faves and our local, Heathcote and Star is a beautifully renovated pub in Leytonstone boasting a games room and garden. We worked closely with the interior design agency to create a bespoke peony mascot to match the celestial botanicals theme.
THE STAR OF BETHNAL GREEN
An east end pub that’s anything but ‘traditional’. Celebrating the weird and wonderful, the camp and the colourful. We chose the Fox as this venues mascot.
THE STAR BY HACKNEY DOWNS
A dog-friendly pub in the heart of Hackney! The mascot for this venue was a no brainer…
THE FELLOWSHIP AND STAR
A grade II listed pub in South London with a cinema and cafe. We wanted to include a reference to the boxing heritage of this venue…
THE LEYTON STAR
A casual sports pub in Leyton, East London with a chilled vibe & heated beer garden.
STAR OF KINGS
A party pub with three floors of fun based in Kings Cross. This venue features its very owan Banksy piece and we chose an owl as the brand mascot as it fits nicely with the promiscuous nightlife the area used to be known for.
