We worked with Z Records founder Dave Lee to create original cover artwork for his latest album set for release under one of his many aliases as AC Soul Symphony. “Metamorphosis” is an ambitious new project that is centred around a 20 piece live orchestra. We visualised this in the artwork by illustrating the string instruments in abstracted forms, creating a composition reminiscent of oil paintings from the early surrealist movement. We then came up with two harmonious colour variations for the two part double vinyl LP, CD and digital cover art.
