We were approached to work on a new logo and artwork for singer-songwriter Lilla Vargen to coincide with her latest releases. Hailing from Northern Ireland she’s been making powerful and emotive pop music and has already enjoyed success self-releasing her work (13 million streams on Spotify) but now was the right time to give her profile a boost.
The artwork brief stipulated a clean, contemporary and subtle design featuring interchangeable photography and track titles. For the logo we wanted to create a typographic route with references to some of Lilla’s vintage and classic tastes whilst still maintaining an overall modern and clean look. We also explored the use of pastel and muted colour combinations to compliment the beautiful photography.
