Record label founder Dave Magnier approached us to help create a new record sleeve and vinyl labels for his independent label called House of Disco. The brief called for a minimal and geometric approach that would be bold yet simple enough for him to edit himself for an ongoing series of releases.
We created a hypnotic pattern for the sleeves using line filled house shapes that would repeat seamlessly when the records were placed side by side. Then we get the labels a stripped back yet roughened aesthetic with simple typography and a ‘hand-stamped’ effect on the classic House of Disco logo.
